Experienced SEN Teaching Assistant – Flexible Work in Southampton

About the Role:

As a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant, you’ll play a vital role in supporting students with diverse needs, helping them to access the curriculum, build confidence, and achieve their potential. Whether working one-on-one, in small groups, or assisting across the classroom, your skills and compassion will create a positive learning environment.

What We’re Looking For:

  • SEN Expertise: Proven experience supporting students with a variety of needs, including autism, ADHD, dyslexia, or SEMH challenges.
  • Patience and Empathy: A caring approach to building relationships with students and staff.
  • Adaptability: The confidence to support students in different settings and tailor your approach to their individual needs.
  • Qualifications and Experience: NVQ Level 3 or equivalent is desirable, but hands-on experience is highly valued.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
