Role Overview:
We are currently seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Science Teachers to work on a flexible or supply basis in various secondary schools throughout the Tameside area. This role is ideal for educators looking for a dynamic work environment, with the opportunity to teach across different schools and engage with diverse student populations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging and effective science lessons in accordance with the national curriculum.
- Adapt teaching methods to meet the varying needs of students, ensuring all learners can access the material.
- Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback to support their development.
- Collaborate with school staff to create a positive learning environment.
- Maintain classroom discipline and promote a culture of respect and inclusivity.
Qualifications:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- A degree in a relevant science subject (Biology, Chemistry, Physics).
- Previous teaching experience in secondary education is preferred but not essential.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to build rapport with students.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
