Job Description:
Teaching Personnel is looking to recruit enthusiastic and adaptable Day-to-Day Supply Teachers for schools across Nottingham. As a supply teacher, you will be required to cover short-term teacher absences, ensuring that lessons are delivered effectively and students remain engaged. This is an excellent opportunity for teachers looking for flexibility in their working hours while still having a significant impact on student learning.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide high-quality teaching to students across various subjects and key stages (EYFS, KS1 & KS2).
  • Deliver lessons in accordance with pre-planned schedules or adapt to the school’s requirements.
  • Ensure that students remain focused and engaged in the lessons.
  • Manage classroom behavior effectively and create a positive learning environment.
  • Mark and provide feedback on students' work when required.
  • Communicate effectively with school staff, students, and parents where necessary.
  • Follow school policies and procedures to ensure consistency in delivery and behavior management.

The Ideal Candidate:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
  • Experience teaching in primary and/or secondary schools.
  • Strong classroom management skills and the ability to engage students of all ages.
  • Flexibility and adaptability to work in different school environments and across various subjects.
  • Excellent communication skills, both with students and school staff.
  • A professional and reliable attitude, with a passion for supporting student achievement.
