Teaching Personnel is currently recruiting for Supply Teachers to support our client schools in the Tameside area.
Our client schools in Tameside cover areas such as Denton, Hyde, Ashton-Under-Lyne and Mossley.
For this position it is essential that you are a qualified teacher, you are willing to apply for a fully enhanced DBS check and can provide at least two employment references. It is also important that you are aware of all safeguarding procedures.
The highlights of this position are:
- £120-150 per day.
- Flexible working, work to your own availability. Ideal for people who have family commitments or are looking to reduce workload.
- Teaching and gaining experience in a variety of schools covering the whole Tameside area.
- Supply teachers typically do not need to undertake marking, planning and extra-curricular activities, providing a better work life balance.
The key responsibilities of this position are to support the school in covering lessons where a teacher may be absent for multiple reasons including sickness and appointments. You will use a brief and a planned lesson to engage the children in their learning. You must be able to manage the behaviour of the classroom and ensure that the classroom is always a safe environment for the students.
As a supply teacher you will be working flexibly in a variety of schools. Assignments can vary in length from one day positions to an academic term, dependent on the requirement of the school.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
