About the Role:
Teaching Personnel is looking for qualified teachers with SEND experience to work on a flexible, casual basis in schools across Southampton. This is a fantastic opportunity to use your skills and expertise to make a positive impact on students’ learning experiences. You will work with students who have a range of special educational needs, helping them overcome barriers to learning and achieve their potential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver engaging lessons tailored to the needs of students with SEND.
- Work closely with SENCOs and support staff to implement individual learning plans.
- Provide differentiated learning materials and strategies to support student progress.
- Foster an inclusive classroom environment where every student feels valued.
- Monitor, assess, and report on the progress of students with SEND.
What We’re Looking For:
- A qualified teacher (QTS or equivalent).
- Experience working with children with SEND.
- Strong classroom management skills and the ability to adapt teaching to individual needs.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- A valid DBS check (or willingness to apply for one).

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
