Flexible Supply Teaching Roles Available in Norfolk – With Potential for Long-Term Opportunities 

Are you a qualified teacher seeking flexible work that adapts to your schedule? We are offering exciting opportunities for supply teachers to work across a range of friendly and engaging secondary schools in Norfolk. This role is perfect for those who want to manage their own schedules while keeping open the possibility of long-term, permanent positions. 

As a supply teacher, you’ll be stepping in to deliver pre-planned lessons in the absence of regular teachers. Key responsibilities include supporting students in their learning, maintaining classroom order, and keeping students engaged with the lesson content. You’ll cover a variety of subjects, playing an essential role in students' development and supporting a smooth school day. Each school fosters a supportive atmosphere, providing you with resources and guidance to feel prepared and confident in the classroom. 

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Lead pre-prepared lessons across multiple subjects 

  • Ensure classroom behaviour aligns with school policies 

  • Support students in their learning and respond to questions 

  • Keep students focused and actively engaged in their tasks 

  • Provide feedback to regular teachers on student participation and progress 

Requirements: 

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent teaching qualification 

  • Classroom experience, preferably across multiple subjects 

  • Strong skills in classroom management and organization 

  • Adaptability to fit into different classroom environments 

  • A positive, professional attitude to helping young learners succeed

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
