Position: Supply Teacher
Location: Northamptonshire
Type: Flexible working, full and part time positions available

Salary: Negotiable based on experience
The Role: Teaching Personnel are seeking a reliable and enthusiastic Cover Supervisor to join our team on both a full time and part time basis. The successful candidate will be responsible for covering teacher absences and presenting pre-planned lessons to ensure continuity of learning for the students. This position is ideal for individuals who are passionate about education and looking to gain valuable experience in a school setting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise classes during the short-term absence of teachers.
- Present and deliver pre-planned lessons, ensuring that students remain engaged and on task.
- Maintain a positive and orderly classroom environment conducive to learning.
- Manage classroom behavior in accordance with school policies and procedures.
- Support students in completing their work and provide assistance where necessary.
- Report back to the regular classroom teacher on the progress of the lesson and any issues that arose.
- Assist with other duties as required, including administrative tasks and supporting school events.
Qualifications and Experience:
- A good level of education, ideally holding a degree.
- Minimum Grade C at GCSE, or equivalent, in both English and Maths.
- Previous experience working in an educational setting is desirable but not essential.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage classroom behavior and maintain a positive learning environment.
- Flexibility, reliability, and a proactive approach to supporting students and staff.
- A commitment to the welfare and safeguarding of students.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
