Teaching Personnel is proud to collaborate with several mainstream secondary schools across Newcastle. We are currently recruiting Ad Hoc Supply Teachers for both short-term cover and long-term placements.
Whether you’re an unqualified teacher, Early Career Teacher (ECT), or an experienced professional seeking to broaden your experience, we offer regular work tailored to your availability. From a few days a week to full-time roles, we want to hear from you!
If you’re open to last-minute assignments, having your own transport is ideal, as some roles may be confirmed early in the morning. For those who prefer a more structured approach, we also provide pre-planned assignments with ample preparation time.
Key Responsibilities:
- Setting up the classroom for lessons
- Delivering pre-prepared materials
- Keeping students engaged and on task
- Supporting students who need additional help
- Tidying up after lessons

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
