Job description

Teaching Personnel are looking to register qualified Teachers in the Dorchester area for supply work across Primary Schools in the area.

Role: Supply Teacher, covering staff sickness or temporary replacements.

Duration: Short-term or Long-term - 1-5 days a week

Key Stage: Early Years - KS3

Location:Dorchester

HOW IT WORKS:

  • Day to day supply - Daily Sicknes cover at various Primary schools within a commutable distance.
  • Short-term - weekly bookings from 1-5 days a week. 
  • Long-term - Bookings that can be 1-5 days a week for more than 5 weeks. 
  • Temp to Perm - This will start as a temporary role, that could go permenant for right candidate. 

Responsibilties: 

  • Delivering Pre-planned lessons in Early years to KS3 depending on preference. 
  • Helping individual students with classroom engagement, and inclusive learning.
  • Reporting stuent progress back for class teachers return. 
  • Delegate duties to class TA with clessroom set up. 
  • Classroom management and inclusion. 

Requirements:

  • Enhanced Child DBS certificate that is registered on the update service. (Teaching Personnel can asist you with this if required)
  • Fully Qualified with QTS or equivalent.
  • Experience working teaching Primary age.
  • Knowledge and Understanding of Safeguaring procedures - Free course vailable for those who need it.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
