Exciting Opportunity for Sports Science Graduates

Are you a Sports Science graduate or currently pursuing a degree in Sports Science? Are you eager to gain meaningful work experience while earning a competitive salary?

Teaching Personnel offers an excellent opportunity for Sports Science Graduates to apply their knowledge in a practical, rewarding environment. We have openings for enthusiastic graduates to join a special school in Birmingham, specializing in Autism, Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH), and Learning Difficulties. As a Learning Support Assistant, you will have the chance to positively impact students' lives and help them achieve greater independence.

What You’ll Do:

  • Work closely with children and young adults, supporting their educational and personal development.
  • Assist in classrooms, providing tailored support to meet the unique needs of each student, whether on a 1:1 basis or in small groups.
  • Gain hands-on experience across various key stages, including Early Years, Primary, Secondary, and Post-16 education.
  • Collaborate with a dedicated team in a purpose-built school that fosters strong connections with the community.

Who We’re Looking For: We are seeking graduates with degrees in:

  • Sports Science
  • Psychology
  • Criminology
  • Sports Coaching
  • Social Work
  • Educational Studies
  • Youth and Community Studies
  • Or other related disciplines

This role is ideal for those considering a career in education, coaching, or even moving into counseling or clinical psychology. It’s a perfect stepping stone for those looking to explore teaching or advance in the education sector.

What We Offer:

  • Competitive weekly pay: £400 - £450
  • Full-time hours: 8:30 AM – 3:30 PM

Requirements:

  • A willingness to apply for or already possess an Enhanced Child DBS, registered on the update service.
