Special Educational Needs Teaching Assistant wanted in Truro

  • Are you an enthusiastic, inspiring learning Support Assistant looking for a new role?
  • Do you have experience in SEN education?
  • Are you qualified or do you have experience working in a Primary School Environment?
  • Are you located close to Truro, or happy you travel?

We have a new opportunity for a SEN  TA to work alongside a professional Senco and the Teachers in providing the best, starting education for children. Registering with Teaching Personnel will ensure a schedule that fits around you, a consultant to support your application and  a chance to gain invaluable experience within the institution.

To qualify for this you will need to have:

  • A passion for education and assisting children on their journey
  • The ability to build and maintain relationships with children, either in small groups or 1:1.
  • Work to your own initiative with confidence both inside and outside of the classroom.
  • Previous School/Health care experience/Youth work/Sports coaching is desired.
  • A full Driving License.

Team Teach training is preferred but the can be offered with Teaching Personnel alongside other CPD Training.

All candidates must be able to provide two references from you most current schools or placements with children and must provide a DBS check registered to the update service or be completed via application at a cost of £38.00 but will then be update annually for £13. Safeguarding is a priority at Teaching Personnel and therefore all candidates are vetted to the highest standard.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
