Urgent Job Opening: Special Education Needs Teacher
Location: Amersham, Buckinghamshire
Salary: £150 - £180 per day (depending on experience)
Type: Flexible

About the Role:
Teaching Personnel is seeking a Special Education Needs (SEN) Teacher to join our team. We are currently working with several SEN schools in the Buckinghamshire area and are looking for passionate individuals to support students aged 3 to 18 years. Experience is preferred but not essential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver lessons to small groups and individual students
  • Prepare teaching materials, take registers, and write reports
  • Support students in building confidence and independence while encouraging learning
  • Manage student behaviour and create a safe, engaging environment

Desired Qualities:

  • Sensitivity, patience, and the ability to stay calm under pressure
  • Team player with the ability to work collaboratively
  • Flexible and open to change
  • Strong understanding of people’s reactions and needs
