Job description

We are workigng with a Secondary School that are on the hunt for a Sociology Teacher / Sociology ECT (Social Sciences) for a September 2024 start. This is a permanent, and full-time contract.

The Head Teacher is looking for an ambitious Sociology Teacher / Sociology ECT (Social Sciences) who is keen to add value to an expanding Sociology Department. 

The school are well invested into the Education sector setting new teaching practices, as well as training their own and new staff. It's an exciting time at the school!

Newly Qualified Sociology Teachers (ECT) will be enrolled onto the schools very own bespoke ECT induction, as well as work alongside a range of young & experienced Sociology Teachers.

  • Sociology Teacher / Sociology ECT
  • Inspiring and motivating the younger generation
  • Working alongside a team of fantastic Sociology Teachers
  • ECTs welcome: 1:1 Mentor, bespoke ECT induction, In & out of house training and more
  • September 2024 - Full Time & Permanent
  • MPS1-UPS3 - £30,000 - £46,525

PERSON SPECIFICATION

  • Must have UK QTS or be in the process of gaining
  • Strong academics across the board - Degree, A Levels and GCSEs
  • You must be able to work as part of a large team of Sociology Teachers
  • Must be willing to listen to feedback

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
