Job Opportunity: Social Sciences Teacher 

Are you passionate about Social Sciences and looking for an opportunity to inspire young minds? Teaching Personnel is excited to partner with an independant school in Northampton to find a dedicated and knowledgeable Social Sciences Teacher to join their team in January 2025.

About the Role:

  • Position: Social Sciences Teacher
  • Location: Northampton
  • Start Date: January 2025
  • Employment Type: Full-time, temporary with the potential for permanent placement

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging and dynamic lessons across various Social Sciences subjects, tailored to both GCSE and A-Level students.
  • Foster a supportive learning environment that promotes academic curiosity and critical thinking.
  • Work collaboratively with experienced faculty to enrich the curriculum and support students’ diverse learning needs.
  • Participate in departmental meetings, college events, and contribute to the holistic development of students.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching certification in the UK.
  • A degree in Social Sciences or a related field.
  • Experience teaching Social Sciences at the secondary level, ideally including GCSE and A-Level.
  • A passion for education and a commitment to helping students achieve their full potential.
  • Excellent communication, organization, and interpersonal skills.
