Short Term Supply Teacher

ECTs and fully inducted Teachers are welcome to apply.

Teaching Personnel have encountered a high volume of Primary Schools in the East Lancashire area requiring support to source ECTs and experienced teachers to teach across EYFS, KS1 and KS2. A number of schools are based in the Bacup area.

About the role:

Day to day and short-term supply

To work in a range of Primary Schools across East Lancashire.

To start January 2024.

Pay rate: £100 - £140 per day.

Flexible working hours.

BL1 Area

Carry out any reasonable requests from the head teacher during your bookings.

Supply appropriate planning materials, following school plans where provided.

Carry out the duties of the class teacher. For example, covering classes, taking class registers, attending school assemblies, upholding the schools ethos and marking pupils work.

Observe school policy and ethos during your bookings.

Contribute to the provision of a safe, secure learning environment.

Support the use of support staff relevant to the class.

It is essential that you have QTS and experience working in a UK primary school. You will need to have taught in EYFS/KS1 and/or KS2 and have knowledge of statutory assessments.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
