About the Role:
Teaching Personnel is seeking dedicated and compassionate SEND Teaching Assistants to join our team, supporting children with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) across various schools in the Wirral area. This is a fantastic opportunity for individuals passionate about making a positive impact on the lives of young learners.
Key Responsibilities:

Provide tailored support to pupils with a range of SEND, including Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), ADHD, and other learning difficulties.

Assist the class teacher in delivering engaging lessons that meet the needs of all pupils.

Implement individual education plans (IEPs) and behaviour management strategies.
-
Foster a supportive and inclusive environment, promoting the social and emotional development of the pupils.

Monitor and report on pupil progress to the class teacher and SENCO.
-
Support pupils during break times, ensuring their safety and well-being.
Requirements:
-
Experience working with children with SEND in a school or care setting.
-
A calm, patient, and empathetic approach to working with children.
-
Strong communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships with pupils, staff, and parents.

Flexibility and adaptability to meet the varying needs of pupils.
-
A relevant qualification in childcare or education is desirable but not essential.

Enhanced DBS and on the update service or willingness to apply for one.
