About the Role:
As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you'll play a pivotal role in empowering primary aged pupils with a range of additional needs, primarily Autism, alongside physical difficulties, sensory needs, and communication challenges. Your daily responsibilities will include providing classroom support, facilitating peer and staff communication, and serving as a positive role model for our young learners.
Position: SEN Teaching Assistant (KS1)
Location: Middlesbrough
Contract Type: Temporary for 1 term initially
Start Date: ASAP
We're seeking individuals with:
- Proven experience supporting individuals with additional needs, whether in educational, care, or personal settings.
- The flexibility to adapt to diverse challenges and environments.
- A resilient, upbeat attitude that inspires confidence and fosters a nurturing environment.
- Recent graduates from relevant fields such as Psychology, Criminology, Sociology, Youth Work, or healthcare are also encouraged to apply, bringing fresh perspectives and enthusiasm to the role.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
