SEND Learning Support Assistant – Primary School (Winchester)

Role Overview:
- Position: SEND Learning Support Assistant
- Location: Primary School, Winchester
- Employment Type: Initially through Teaching Personnel, with the potential for a permanent contract

Key Responsibilities:
- Support pupils with complex learning difficulties on a one-to-one basis or in small groups
- Work alongside teachers and other staff to create a safe, nurturing, and engaging learning environment
- Help implement individualized learning plans and provide tailored support for each child’s unique needs
- Build positive relationships with pupils, fostering their confidence, independence, and social skills
- Maintain a strong focus on improving outcomes for all pupils attending the school

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
