Job description

A rapidly improving secondary school in Raunds, Northamptonshire, is seeking a highly skilled and experienced qualified Special Educational Needs Coordinator (SENCo) to join their dedicated staff from October 2024. The school is committed to creating an inclusive environment that supports the diverse needs of its students.

Role: SENCo
Age: Secondary
Salary: MPS/UPS, Dependent on experience with SEN allowance/TLR
Area: Raunds, Northamptonshire
Contract: Fixed term with the view of being made permanent
Start: October 2024

Requirements:

  • Qualified teacher status (QTS) and a recognised UK SENCo qualification.
  • Significant UK experience in a similar role within a secondary school setting.
  • Strong knowledge of current SEN legislation and practices.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A passion for improving outcomes for students with special educational needs.
