Job description

SEN Tutor

Nottinghamshire, Nottingham (NG3)

Job Duties:

1. Provide one-to-one support to students with Special Educational Needs (SEN).

2. Develop and implement individualised learning plans to meet the unique needs of each student.

3. Adapt teaching methods and materials to accommodate the learning styles and abilities of SEN students.

4. Monitor and assess student progress, adjusting teaching strategies as needed.

5. Collaborate other professionals to support the holistic development of SEN students.

Required Qualifications:

- Relevant qualification in Special Educational Needs (SEN) teaching or equivalent experience.

- Bachelor's degree in Education or related field.

- Minimum of 2 years of experience working with SEN students.

Knowledge and Skills:

- Understanding of SEN legislation and best practises.

- Ability to differentiate instruction to meet the diverse needs of SEN students.

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
