SEN Tutor

Looking for a change, but still want to make a difference?  TP Tutors are recruiting SEN Tutors in the Nottingham area (NG11).

Job Duties:

  • Provide individualised support and guidance to students with Special Educational Needs (SEN).
  • Create and implement tailored learning plans to meet the diverse needs of students.
  • Assist students in developing academic and social skills in line with their Individual Education Plans (IEPs).
  • Monitor and assess student progress, adjusting teaching methods as necessary.
  • Collaborate with other professionals to ensure a holistic approach to student development.

Required Qualifications:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or relevant teaching qualification.
  • Experience working with students with SEN.
  • Knowledge of SEN strategies and interventions.

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Understanding of the UK education system and SEN legislation.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet individual student needs.
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
