Job Duties:
The SEN Tutor will be responsible for providing specialised educational support to students with Special Educational Needs (SEN). Duties include creating tailored learning plans, delivering one-on-one or small group tutoring sessions, monitoring student progress, and collaborating with teachers and parents to ensure academic success.
Education:
Minimum of a relevant SEN qualification
Experience:
Prior experience working with SEN students
Knowledge and Skills:
- Understanding of various learning difficulties and strategies to support them
- Ability to adapt teaching methods to suit individual student needs
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Preferred Qualifications:
- Additional certifications in specific learning support areas
- Experience in developing Individual Education Plans (IEPs)
Working Conditions:
The SEN Tutor will work part-time hours on a temporary basis. The role may involve travelling to different locations to provide support to students. Flexibility in working hours may be required to accommodate student schedules.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
