Year 6 SEN Teaching Assistant - Full-Time

Role: Year 6 SEN Teaching Assistant

Location: Peckham

Contract: Full-Time

Salary: £21,600

Are you passionate about supporting students with special educational needs? Our client school in Peckham is seeking a dedicated and compassionate full-time SEN Teaching Assistant to join their team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide tailored support to Year 6 students with special educational needs.

• Assist the classroom teacher in creating an inclusive learning environment.

• Implement individualised learning plans and strategies.

• Support students with their social and emotional development.

• Work closely with the SENCO to monitor and report on student progress.

Requirements:

• Previous experience working with children with special educational needs.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

• A patient and empathetic approach to supporting students.

• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.

• Relevant qualifications or training in SEN (preferred but not essential).

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
