Location: Wolverhampton
Weekly Salary: £425 to £500
Contract: Temporary (opportunities to go perm)
Hours: Monday to Friday (9am to 3pm)

Teaching Personnel is currently recruiting a Special Educational Needs (SEN) Teaching Assistant for a SEN school in Wolverhampton. This role involves supporting students with Autism, learning disabilities, and other challenging needs to ensure they get the most out of their education.

If you have a genuine passion for working with young people with SEN and want to make a meaningful difference in their educational experience, we’d love to hear from you!

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assisting teaching staff with lesson delivery
  • Providing one-on-one support to students who need additional help
  • Leading small group sessions to enhance learning
  • Tracking student progress and offering feedback to teachers

What We're Looking For:

  • A genuine interest in supporting children and making a positive impact on their education
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
  • Patience, empathy, and the ability to build strong relationships with students
  • Prior experience with SEN
  • An enhanced DBS on the update service or willingnness to apply for one

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
