SEN Teaching Assistant
Location: Nottingham, NG2
Contract Type: Full-Time, Permanent
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30 am - 3:30 pm
Salary: £83.85 - £90.00 Per Day, dependent on experience
Do you have a passion for supporting children with special educational needs and helping them achieve their full potential? We are looking for a compassionate and skilled SEN Teaching Assistant to join our team and provide invaluable support to our students.
Responsibilities:
- Assist the class teacher in delivering tailored lessons to meet the needs of SEN students
- Provide one-on-one or small group support to students
- Help to develop and implement Individual Education Plans (IEPs)
- Encourage social integration and personal development of students
- Monitor and record student progress and provide feedback to the teaching staff
- Support students with personal care tasks, if necessary
Requirements:
- Previous experience working with children with SEN
- Relevant qualifications or training in SEN support
- Patience, empathy, and a positive attitude
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to remain calm under pressure and handle challenging situations

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
