About Us:

Teaching Personnel are excited to announce opportunities for enthusiastic, energetic, and professional individuals to join our mainstream primary schools across Tottenham to provide SEN support. 

We are seeking dedicated Learning Support Assistants to support primary pupils  looking to achieve their GCSEs across a range of subjects, including English, Maths, Science, PE, Design Technology, Art, and Music.

About the Role:

As a Learning Support Assistant, you will play a pivotal role in the academic and social success of our pupils. You will work closely with our excellent team of staff who are not only highly professional but also very sociable, ensuring that you feel welcome and valued from day one. Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Providing support to pupils in their academic studies.
  • Assisting in the development and delivery of lesson plans.
  • Supporting pupils' social and emotional development.
  • Encouraging positive behaviour and engagement in all school activities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supporting secondary pupils across a variety of subjects.
  • Helping to prepare and deliver engaging and effective lessons.
  • Assisting pupils with their learning, providing one-on-one or small group support.
  • Monitoring and recording pupils' progress and providing feedback to teachers.
  • Promoting a positive and inclusive learning environment.

About You:

While previous experience in education is preferred, we are also keen to hear from individuals who have a passion for making a difference in the lives of others. We welcome applications from those with interests or experience in:

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
