Teaching personnel currently have very exciting opportunities and are hiring for SEN teaching assistants in Tottenham and surrounding areas!

You will be working with one of our partners mainstream primary schools and we have a variety of different roles available and can accommodate to if you’d like to work full time or you would like more flexibility.

We have a number of full time positions starting in September.

As an SEN Teaching Assistant your responsibilities will include: 

  • Supporting pupils with SEMH and/or Autism
  • Provide education and emotional support to all young learners within the school
  • Work with other staff members to ensure pupil’s progress is monitored and adjusted to meet the pupil’s needs
  • Be confident in your approach when engaging with learners with SEMH and/or Autism

We are keen to speak to people about this SEN Teaching Assistant role with the following skills and experience:

  • Experience in supporting young people with Social, Emotional, Mental Health needs (SEMH) and/or Autism
  • Experience in supporting pupils in a specialist provision would be ideal but we are also keen to hear from mainstream teaching Assistants looking to move to an SEN setting
  • The successful SEN TA must share the school’s ethos of working as a whole school team to ensure all the pupil’s academic and emotional needs are met
  • Commutable to Tottenham

Experience helping students in a specialist facility would be excellent, however we are also interested in hearing from mainstream teaching assistants looking to relocate to a SEN environment.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
