SEN Teaching Assistant

Are you looking for long term work within education?
Do you have a passion to work with children?
Have you had experience supporting children with Special Educational Needs?

Start date: Tuesday 7th January

Working hours: Monday-Friday (8.30am-3.30pm)

Pay: £12.90-13.80 per hour

A fantastic and rewarding opportunity has arisen at a Primary school in Tameside. Teaching Personnel are working closely with the Head Teacher to get a clear understanding of the specific needs and requirements to ensure we recruit a suitable new member of staff to join their welcoming and successful team. The Head Teacher has stressed that they are looking for an individual who has either personal or professional experience supporting individuals with additional needs. The successful applicant will be proactive and passionate. You must be driven, confident and be able to form good relationships with all staff and pupils.

This opportunity is a long-term position, with the potential for the role to become permanent. The position is starting after the Christmas break (January 2025) working 1:1 with a young child in the KS1 who is currently working below age related expectations.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
