SEN Teaching Assistant

Position Details:

• Hours: 8:45am to 3:15pm, offering a conducive work-life balance.
• Full-time position, but part-time availability will also be considered.

Requirements:

• Educational Qualifications: Hold a GCSE level or equivalent with C and above in Maths and English, ensuring proficiency in fundamental subjects.
• Passion for Special Education: Demonstrated commitment to supporting children with special educational needs, fostering their growth and development.
• Excellent Communication and Teamwork Skills: Ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with colleagues, parents, and students, creating a positive and inclusive learning environment.
• Experience working with children and/or adults who have additional needs. 

Role:

• Work collaboratively with colleagues to best support the needs of the pupils.
• Demonstrate resilience and flexibility in an ever-changing environment.
• Build positive relationships with pupils and staff alike.
• Maintain an awareness of safeguarding procedures and protocols.
• Assist in the preparation and tidying up of classrooms.
