About the Role:
Teaching Personnel is seeking a dedicated and compassionate SEN Teaching Assistant to support students with Autism in a Cardiff-based SEN Primary School. This role offers an exciting opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of children with additional needs. As a Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with class teachers to provide tailored support that enhances the educational experience for students with Autism.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist the class teacher in delivering engaging lessons tailored to the needs of students with Autism.
• Support students in developing their social skills and emotional well-being.
• Help create a safe and inclusive learning environment where all students can thrive.
• Implement individual education plans (IEPs) and contribute to ongoing assessments.
• Foster positive relationships with students, parents, and school staff.
• Provide one-on-one and group support to enhance students' learning experiences.

Requirements:

• Experience working with children with Autism and special educational needs is desirable.
• A compassionate and patient attitude with a commitment to making a difference in students' lives.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team.
• Relevant qualifications or training (e.g., Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant qualification) are advantageous.
