Job description
Due to a significant increase in demand, Teaching Personnel are excited to offering guaranteed work contracts for exceptional teachers based in the York area
Every term, Teaching Personnel are able to offer select experienced SEND Support Staff a place on our Guaranteed Work Scheme which provides educators with that all-important guaranteed income, whilst retaining the flexibility of supply work. We are currently looking for SEND Support Staff who are able to support in SEND and SEMH provisions across Primary and Secondary age ranges in and around North Yorkshire. We are looking for suitable candidates to start ASAP.

- Guarantees that you will receive income for at least the number of days (less one) that you make yourself available every week under the terms of the scheme
- Means that you don't have to manage relationships with multiple agencies

How it works:
- Once you have registered with us and built up good feedback in our client schools, we will discuss how many days you can commit to being free for supply work.
- We will guarantee to pay you for every day less one (per week), even if there is no work available.
- In order to be paid for not working, you will need to have fulfilled the terms and conditions of the scheme
Requirements:
- Previous experience working with children or young people with special educational needs is desirable but not essential.
- A compassionate and patient nature, with a genuine commitment to supporting the learning and well-being of SEN students.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with students, colleagues, and parents/carers.
- A proactive approach to learning and professional development, with a willingness to participate in training provided by the school.
- A positive attitude, adaptability, and resilience in the face of challenges.
