About the Learning Support Assistant Role:

We are seeking a committed Learning Support Assistant to join our supportive and forward-thinking team. This full-time role involves working closely with teachers and students to provide high-quality, individualized support that helps all learners reach their full potential.

Key Responsibilities of the Learning Support Assistant:

  • Supporting a diverse range of students in their academic and personal development
  • Working closely with students with Special Educational Needs (SEN) to tailor learning approaches
  • Assisting teachers with classroom preparation and resources
  • Providing small group or one-on-one support as needed
  • Encouraging a positive and inclusive learning environment for all students

About the Successful Learning Support Assistant:

  • Graduate level or equivalent education, with a strong academic background
  • genuine passion for education and helping young people succeed
  • Willingness to support a wide range of students, including those with SEN
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Aspiring teachers are welcomed, as this role offers invaluable school experience
  • A proactive, flexible approach and a willingness to learn

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
