Job description

SEN Teaching Assistant

Teaching personnel are working with an excellent primary school in central Manchester to recruit for an SEN Teaching assistant.

The school are looking for a confident, driven individual with a passion for supporting pupils from disadvantaged backgrounds. This is a part time position (25 hours per week)

About the role

-          Create a supportive and inclusive classroom environment

-          Full time position starting October 2024

-          Both 1:1 and group support

-          Help ensure the needs of the child are met

-          Helping manage challenging behaviour in the classroom

About you

-          Patient, empathetic and a passion for working with children with a variety of needs

-          Ability to provide tailored support

-          Ability to foster positive relationships with pupils

-          Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

-          Experience working with children

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
