Job description

Are you passionate about making a real difference in young people’s lives who have faced trauma and struggling to navigate life? Teaching Personnel is offering a number of flexible teaching assistant roles which allows you to tailor work into your schedule whilst assisting at multiple locations.

We’re looking for someone who is confident with de-escalating challenging behaviour and possess strong behaviour management skills, able to work in different provisions and are highly reliable. Most Importantly this role requires you to be empathetic and patient as this is what these children need.

 

About the role:

-           Small class sizes which creates strong relationships with the students

-           Teaching Assistant role is sometimes 1:1 with the students

-           No prior teaching qualifications/ experience needed

-           Monday- Friday (08:30-3:30). Work fits into your life which creates a healthy work/life balance. 

What you need:

-           To have/ get a child only DBS on the update service and to have 24months worth of references

-           Prior experience working with children with SEND needs (not essential but desired)

-           To be adaptable and resilient in challenging environments

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
