Role: Autism Classroom Support Assistant

Location: Kensington & Chelsea, W10

Contract: Full time

Hours: 8:30-15:30

Start: January 2025

Rate: £85-£110 Per day (PAYE) Pay will reflect your experience and qulaifications.

Teaching Personnel are looking for an enthusiastic and compassionate Autism Classroom Assistant to join an amazing ASD School in Kensington & Chelsea. As an Autism classroom Support Assistant you will be supporting KS2 students within a group setting. The ideal Autism Classroom Support Assistant will be someone willing to shape the future of young pupil's mind and make a positive impact to students.

The ideal Autism Classroom Assistant:

  • Has experience working with children and young people with special needs.
  • Has personal interests in supporting children and young people with special needs.
  • A positive, proactive, and patient individual who has a can-do attitude and is willing to learn.
  • A team player and has great communication skills.
  • Being able to build good working relationships with students and staff.

The ideal Autism Classroom Assistant responsibilities:

  • Previous experience in a health care setting is Essential as you will be looking after vulnerable individuals.
  • Candidates must have a valid DBS certificate on the update service (registered online) or willing to apply for one
  • Successful candidates will be contacted via email or phone.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
