Position: 1-1 SEN Teaching Assistant

Start Date: After Half Term
Wage: £11.85 - £13 per hour

1-1 SEN Teaching Assistant Needed in the Hull Area! Are you passionate about making a positive impact on students' lives? Teaching Personnel, the UK's leading education supply agency, is seeking a dedicated 1-1 SEN Teaching Assistant to join us and work in one of our Venn partnered schools or other primary schools in the area. In this role, you will play a vital part in providing personalised support to a student with Special Educational Needs, utilising your patient and compassionate approach to create an inclusive learning environment, ultimately enabling the student to reach their full potential.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver tailored support to the designated student, following their EHCP plan.
• Foster a nurturing and stimulating atmosphere that encourages student engagement and progress.
• Collaborate closely with the class teacher, SENCO, and other professionals to implement effective strategies.
• Assist with classroom activities and ensure the student’s participation in various subjects.
• Monitor and record the student’s progress, offering feedback to relevant stakeholders.

Requirements:

• Relevant experience working with students with Special Educational Needs.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team.
• Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for helping students overcome challenges.
• A proactive approach to problem-solving and adapting strategies as needed.
