Job Description:
As a Level 3 Teaching Assistant with SEN experience, your responsibilities will include:
- Providing targeted support to students with SEN, both in individual and group settings
- Assisting in the development and implementation of individualized education plans (IEPs) and learning strategies tailored to each student's needs
- Supporting classroom teachers in differentiating instruction and creating an inclusive learning environment
- Monitoring student progress and providing regular feedback to teachers, parents, and other stakeholders
- Collaborating with external professionals, such as speech and language therapists, occupational therapists, and educational psychologists, to ensure comprehensive support for students
- Participating in professional development opportunities to stay current with best practices in SEN education and support
Qualifications:
- NVQ Level 3 in Supporting Teaching and Learning in Schools or equivalent qualification
- Relevant experience working with children with Special Educational Needs (SEN) in an educational setting
- Strong understanding of SEN and strategies to support students with diverse needs
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
- Empathy, patience, and a commitment to fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently, with a proactive and positive attitude

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
