SEN Teaching Assistant

Location: West London Area – Harrow, Hillingdon, Hounslow, Ealing

Pay: £83 - £95 per day (based off experience)

Roles: Supply, short term & long term – have the opportunity to go permanent at a school

School Type: Mainstream and Catholic Primary Schools

We are looking to recruit a number of experienced SEN Teaching Assistants who will be available to start work in September beginning the new academic year. We work with a range of fantastic mainstream and Catholic Primary Schools that have a high demand for SEN Teaching Assistants, whether that be for day-to-day supply or a longer-term booking.

As a Primary SEN Teaching Assistant, you will be working with students with a range of special education needs either on a 1:1 basis or in small groups.

As an agency we a very flexible with the days you are available to work, whether that is part time or full time. However, you must be available for the full school hours 8:30am to 3:30pm. You can simply update your dairy yourself or call into the office and let us know and we will try and find a role that best suits you.

What we look for:

  • Experience working with children in an educational setting
  • CACHE Level 2 or equivalent
  • Experience working with children with Special Education Needs
  • Knowledge and understanding of the different types of SEN
  • Strong communication skills
  • Patience and passion for supporting children’s learning and development

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
