Job Title: SEN Teaching Assistant
Location: Yorkshire and the Humber, West Yorkshire, Halifax
Job Type: Temporary, expected to work Full-Time hours

Salary: £12.85 - £15.00 Per hour
Job Description
Job Duties:
- Supporting students with special educational needs (SEN) in their learning and development
- Assisting classroom teachers in implementing individual education plans for students
- Providing one-on-one or small group support to students with SEN
- Helping to create a positive and inclusive learning environment
- Assisting with classroom management and behaviour support
Required Qualifications:
- GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths
- Previous experience working with children or individuals with SEN
Education:
- Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (desirable)
Experience:
- Experience working in an educational setting
- Experience supporting individuals with special educational needs
Knowledge and Skills:
- Understanding of SEN strategies and interventions
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Patience and empathy when working with students with SEN
Preferred Qualifications:
- Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification
- Additional training in SEN support
Working Conditions:
- Work in a school setting, supporting students with SEN
- Full-time hours, temporary position

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
