SEN 1:1 Support Assistant
Location: Doncaster, UK
Contract: Full-time (term time only)

We are seeking a dedicated SEN 1:1 Support Assistant to provide tailored support for a pupil with specific learning needs. This is a rewarding opportunity to contribute to the development and success of a young learner, working closely with the child, teaching staff, and specialists.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide 1:1 support to a pupil with SEN, ensuring they can fully engage with their learning and social development.
- Collaborate with teachers to deliver tailored interventions based on the child’s individual education plan (IEP).
- Foster a positive and nurturing learning environment.
- Assist with classroom activities, ensuring the pupil feels included and supported.
- Monitor progress and provide feedback to teachers and parents.
- Encourage independence while being sensitive to the pupil’s needs.
About You:
We’re looking for a compassionate and proactive individual who:
- Has experience supporting children with SEN (experience with specific needs such as ASD, ADHD, or speech and language difficulties is desirable).
- Demonstrates excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Is patient, empathetic, and committed to promoting inclusive education.
- Has relevant qualifications, such as a Level 2/3 Teaching Assistant or equivalent (preferred but not essential).
- Is adaptable and can work collaboratively as part of a team.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
