We are currently seeking SEN Teaching Assistants to join our team and make a meaningful contribution to the lives of students living with diverse needs.
Job Description:
As a SEN Teaching Assistant, you will pay a crucial role in supporting students with special needs within the classroom environment. Your responsibilities will include, assisting with whole class support as well as providing 1-1 support to students who require additional support.
Key responsibilities:

Provide tailored support to students with special educational needs, on a one-to-one basis and in group settings.

Assist the class teacher in creating and implementing individual education plans (IEPs) and behaviour management plans.

Support the delivery of differentiated lessons to meet the needs of all children.

Assist students with personal care tasks, where needed, ensuring comfort and well-being.

Monitor and track the progress of students, providing feedback to teachers and parents/carers.

Encourage and promote social interactions and emotional development.
Requirements:
-
Previous experience of working with children with Special Educational needs.

Relevant qualification (eg CACHE Level 2 / Level 3 , SEN qualifications are highly desirable).

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Patience, empathy and a nurturing attitude.

Enhanced Child-Only DBS (or willingness to apply for one).

A commitment to safeguard and promote the welfare of children.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
