Job description

Are you passionate about making a difference in the lives of children with Special Educational Needs (SEN)? Do you have the dedication, empathy, and skills to support students in their learning journey? If so, we want to hear from you!

No previous experience as a teaching assistant is required – just a passion for supporting SEN young people!

We have multiple roles available within our SEN schools in Cambridge, so whether you are looking for long-term, short-term, full-time, or part-time, we can help support you to find a role! 

Role and Responsibilities:

  • Provide one-on-one or small group support to students with SEN, ensuring their educational needs are met.
  • Assist in the implementation of Education Health Care Plans (EHCPs) and adapt teaching materials to meet the students' needs.
  • Foster a positive, inclusive, and safe learning environment.

Requirements:

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Patience, empathy, and a positive attitude.
  • Passion for supporting SEN children and young people

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
