Teaching Assistant: Uffington, North West London

An Ofsted ‘good’ rated Primary school in Uffington, Brent is seeking a dedicated teaching assistant to support classroom-based learning and 1-1- pupil support.

You will be responsible for providing the best care and support in a stimulating environment for children’s educational and social development.

The role is to support two children across year 1 and year 5. The role would be split as the children are only at school on flexible timetables for a short number of hours.

Both children are ASD and non – verbal. They are lovely children and display no signs of violent or aggressive behaviour. There may be personnel care needed for one child with support from another teaching assistant in the classroom.

The school is looking for a teaching assistance with:

  • Provides a proactive and engaging learning environment for all pupils

  • Keep students on task and build motivation
  • Develop and understanding of the special educational needs of the students he/she is working with
