Contract Type: Full time
Salary: £88- £100 per day

Role and Responsibilities:
As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting students with special educational needs to reach their full potential. Your responsibilities will include:
- Supporting Learning: Work closely with the class teacher to support students with SEN, adapting materials and resources to meet their individual needs.
- One-to-One Support: Provide dedicated support to individual students, helping them with their academic and personal development.
- Behavior Management: Assist in managing challenging behavior, using appropriate strategies to create a positive learning environment.
- Communication: Liaise with parents, teachers, and other professionals to ensure a cohesive approach to the student’s education.
- Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of student progress, behavior, and any interventions implemented.
Qualifications and Requirements:
To be considered for this role, you must have:
- Relevant Qualifications: Additional qualifications in SEN (e.g., CACHE Level 3 Diploma for the Early Years Workforce, or SEN-specific training) are highly desirable.
- Experience: Previous experience working with children with SEN in an educational setting is essential.
- Knowledge: A solid understanding of SEN, including autism, ADHD, and other learning difficulties.
- Skills: Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students, staff, and parents.
- Commitment: A genuine passion for supporting children with SEN and helping them achieve their potential.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
