SEN Teaching Assistant - Day to Day Supply

Location:

South East England, Surrey, Camberley

Salary:

£83 - £95 Per day

Job Duties:

  • Provide support to students with Special Educational Needs (SEN) in a classroom setting
  • Assist the class teacher in implementing individual education plans for SEN students
  • Help create a positive and inclusive learning environment for all students
  • Support students with their learning activities and ensure their safety and well-being
  • Work with small groups or individual students who require extra help

Required Qualifications:

  • Minimum of GCSEs in English and Maths
  • Relevant experience working with children with SEN

Experience:

Prior experience working as a Teaching Assistant in a school setting or similar

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Understanding of SEN
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Patience and empathy when working with students with SEN

Working Conditions:

Work in a classroom environment, part-time hours, may involve working with students with challenging behaviour or medical needs across various year groups.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
