Location - Stockport
Permanent/Full Time
Salary - £30,000-£40,000 plus company benefits
Teaching Personnel have an excellent opportunity to work with an Alternative provision school based in Stockport. The school cater for pupils aged 11-16 to help them to achieve their potential, with the specific aim of helping them to progress into a positive destination and ultimately become economically and socially active.
The candidate
- Engagement Skills: Ability to engage learners and support their ambitions. To bring fresh ideas and creativity to the classroom and outside it.
- Emotional Support: Passionate about making a positive impact on students’ lives.
- Qualifications: To hold QTS/QTLS.
- Experience: Have worked in a school environment. Particularly, experience in secondary school would be an added advantage.
- Knowledge: Have an understanding of alternative provision and dealing with students with special needs.
- Problem-Solving: Aptitude for solving problems and making effective decisions.
- Communication: Professional communication with students and staff.
- Promotion of Values: Commitment to promoting equality, diversity, safeguarding, wellbeing, and British values.
- Time Management: Effective time management for planning, delivery, and assessment.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
