Job description

A primary SEN school in Manchester is looking for teachers to take on full-time positions. The school works with children who have moderate to complex needs and provides excellent support through education. You will work alongside experienced staff to create a fun and inclusive learning environment where support is tailored to each child.

Within this role, you will be responsible for planning and delivering of lessons, whilst also assessing progress and education plans for each child. You will also provide regular feedback to parents, carers and other members of staff to ensure cohesive support for each child.

For this role you should

  • Have QTS and good teaching expeirence
  • Have experience working with children with special educational needs in a mainstream or specialist primary setting
  • Be confident in communication and be able to adapt this to the different needs of each child
  • Have an understanding of different needs that children may have
  • Be confident managing a classroom and some possibly challenging behaviour
  • Have a passion for working with children with SEN
  • Be available full time

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
