SEN Teacher

Special Needs Teaching Position Available

Teaching Personne’s Permanent Workforce Team are working with a SEN specialist school dedicated to supporting children with severe and profound learning difficulties, including those with autism who are seeking a qualified teacher to join their team.

The ideal candidate will possess:

• Qualified Teacher Status and experience in SLD environments
• Demonstrated ability to design and deliver engaging, age-appropriate lessons for students working below National Curriculum Level 1
• A proactive and compassionate approach to understanding individual student needs, particularly those with sensory, medical, and behavioral needs
• Expertise in utilizing alternative communication methods and supporting non-verbal students
• Strong communication and collaboration skills to effectively lead a classroom team and engage with parents/carers

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
