Position: SEN Teacher
Location: Liverpool and Surrounding Areas, United Kingdom
Employment Type: Full-Time through Teaching Personnel

Position Overview:
As an SEN Teacher, you will work with students who have a range of learning difficulties, disabilities, or behavioral needs. You will be responsible for creating tailored educational plans, adapting teaching methods, and offering a supportive environment to ensure each student thrives academically, socially, and emotionally.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver personalized lessons that meet the specific needs of each student with SEN.
  • Develop and implement Individual Education Plans (IEPs) to track student progress.
  • Work closely with teaching assistants, support staff, and external specialists to ensure a coordinated approach.
  • Create a nurturing, inclusive classroom environment that fosters a sense of belonging.
  • Manage challenging behavior effectively, using positive reinforcement techniques.
  • Maintain regular communication with parents, caregivers, and external agencies regarding student progress.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest SEN strategies and best practices in education.

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent certification.
  • Proven experience working with children with Special Educational Needs.
  • Strong understanding of various SEN conditions and strategies to support learning.
  • Excellent communication, patience, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to adapt teaching methods and resources to suit individual learning needs.
  • A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
