About the Role:

We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Primary SEN Teacher to join a thriving school in Honiton. You will be working with a dedicated team to provide tailored education to students with a range of special educational needs, ensuring each child reaches their full potential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement individualized learning plans for students.
  • Foster a supportive and inclusive classroom environment.
  • Collaborate with teaching assistants, therapists, and parents to support each child's unique needs.
  • Monitor and assess student progress, adjusting strategies as necessary.
  • Maintain accurate records and provide regular feedback on student development.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • Proven experience working with children with special educational needs.
  • Strong understanding of SEN teaching strategies and best practices.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Patience, empathy, and a positive attitude.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
